Dr. Seward’s Dracula: The Break-Away Readings Act III

In celebration of Bram Stoker’s Centenary, The Break-Away Project presented a staged reading of Dr. Seward’s Dracula; A play by Joseph Zettelmaier, as their Break-Away Reading Act Four.

The reading was performed in the Centre for Creative Practices, 15 Pembroke St Lower, Dublin 2 on Sunday July 29th 2012

The Play

London, December 1895.

Dr. Seward has cut himself off from the rest of the world after losing his lover and friends to Dracula. He has been contacted by the Irish author Bram Stoker, who wishes to tell his story. Soon, a series of murders occur, very similar to the ones Seward fought to stop. The doctor must face demons both real and imagined to find the answers.
