Lusmór: Theatre served with Hot Whiskey

“Samhain… when the Other Folk roam the lands”

The Break-Away Project, in association with Foras na Gaeilge, proudly presented a staged reading of their new music theatre piece, Lusmór on March 16th 2014.

To celebrate ‘Seachtain na Gaeilge′ and St. Patrick’s weekend, guests joined us in the Centre for Creative Practices for a wonderful night of theatre, ceol & hot whiskey.

Based on the Legend of Knockgrafton, Lusmór is a tale of luck and misfortune, of love lost and gained, of madness and bravery.

Lusmór is a bilingual piece with English dialogue & music as Gaeilge. Our aim is to encourage use of the Irish language and to give the audience a taste of the enchanting tales of Irish folklore.

Cast for the staged reading were Kevin Hynes, Shane Fallon, Helena Byrne, Diana O’ Connor, Evelyn Shaw & Melissa Nolan.
